Actually Theresa's my mother. But she'll take that as a complement :)I shared the site with her, so hopefully she continues to post. In fact, I will incourage her to do so.
In Christ.

Well, well, welcome to the forum Theresa. Hope you will like this forum. It will challenge you and it should be fun if you want. There are other women in here for example, Gail and MaryLu who will be interested in hearing from you..God Bless.

Complain to St. Paul, Joanie:"Aquila and Prisca, together with the church in their house, send you hearty greetings in the Lord."

Welcome, Theresa!MaryLu :)

greetings! from a song based on Lamentations 3:22,23 "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never shall come to an end, they are new every morning, new every morning, great is Your faithfullness, o Lord, great is Your faithfulness". Just want to deliver this word to you all, how good is our God. Because of what Jesus did on the cross we can 'come boldly before the throne' as His dear children and receive His love. I consider this site as a place where we 'rouse one another to love and good works' {Heb.10:24}. ... and to go on to verse 39 'we are not among those who draw back and perish, but among those who have faith and possess life'. .. and may I be so persistent as to go to 12:2... "rid ourselves of every burden of sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us.. while keeping our eyes FIXED ON JESUS".. yes it's exciting to be in His service. May He bless our day today with an increase of His love, strength and sound mind. Theresa

Greetings Theresa:Love your scripture selections! It gets pretty heated around here sometimes, but "iron sharpens iron and so one man sharpens another." Anyway, it's loads of fun -- and learning.
MaryLu and Kathy are gracious ladies, and great joys on this forum. I always love their postings. John is a great source of information and he's always a gentleman. Fred and Carolyn keep things exciting. Mateo is also very learned and has some very interesting posts. Oh, I almost forgot Eugene. (I think he's really sweet but he likes to rabble with Fred, and Dennis, sometimes) Then there's Emerald, Kiwi (Courtenay) and the poet, Jean, of course. We are a strange hodge podge of folk, a motley crew, but diversity breeds health. By the way, Jake is a doll!
We do have a few thorns in the flesh, as well, but actually I think some here would be bored if they weren't around! (Oops, did I say that?)
Well, look forward to your input.
Love and Blessings,
Gail

Hi Gail,Thank you for the compliment.
Yes, I agree, we are quite a diverse group, aren't we? But, diversity make the world go round and like you said, keeps it from getting boring. We do need a little fire now and then, although I prefer not to be burned on the receiving end of it! :)
I agree with your comments about Jake. He is an asset to the forum and very kind. I like him too. I think his mom, Theresa is also going to be nice to have aboard and I do hope we here from her more often.
You know it is impossible for people to get along all of the time, even if we are Christians. Human nature is human nature. I worked for several religious communities and was quite disappointed to witness some of the conflicts that went on.
I then realized that I had religious on a pedestal. It was disappointing to have to take them off that pedestal but the Lord wanted me to know that I should not honor anyone like that except Him!
Bye for now, ML
