Could you pray for a friend of mine?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread |
My friend is going through a hard time right now with his parents. He called me yesterday and told me his parents are not going to send him back to my school because they feel he is getting a poor education and is reciving too much peer pressure. Well he is very mad because he feels he is getting a good education at our school. And so far from what he says he has not had any peer pressure and our school would not promote that. He called me again at about 9:00 PM which is way past calling hours and he sounded very mad. I would be happy if you would pray for him and his parents and ask that God give them guidence in this time of confusion. Thank you.

Sure, Trowa.May God give your friend peace and strength to deal with whatever situation he's in, and may he end up in the best possible situation. :-)
Love, :-)

Wow! My friend called me back. It seems that he is coming to my school again. God answered my prayers!

Praise be to God! Trowa, isn't it an awesome feeling when prayers are answered. It is such tangible evidence that God DOES exist!I do hope that you will continue to post, if not "lurk" about this forum. It is so good to be in contact with Catholic brothers and sisters.
We must also continue to pray for your friend and his family, that there be an increase in love and understanding. Let us also pray prayers of thanks and gratitude for such a GREAT GOD!
In Christ.
