I have very recently become involved with my local Maternity Services Liaison Committee and I am looking for other members of DPN or other disabled parents who are or have been involved with an MSLC. I particularly would like to hear about the effectiveness of being on such a committee and what changes, if any, were you instrumental in making. I can only give my own point of view on this committee as a disabled user of Maternity Services, so it would be useful to hear about other points of view and experiences. The local Maternity Service is undergoing a complete overhaul so now is the time to deal with any issues disabled parents (dads too!) have had to face.
