As as application program, what are the keys points that I need to ensure in the application program and DB2 batch Job(s), if my DB2 is upgraded from Ver 6 to Ver 7 ? For eg: DB2 version accepts declaration of Host variables without a colon (:), while higher version does not accepts host variables without (:). Do we have any specific constraints that need to be taken care when the system is upgraded from DB2V6 to DB2V7 ? Kindly explain.
