Living in California SUCKS!!greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread |
Hello,I am very interested in purchasing an MV (especially an SPR or Senna), however, living in California SUCKS for me at the moment due to the following:
- What is the official scoop on the SPR (OK... this has no relation to living in California)?
- All the California dealers I have talked with will NOT register a 2002 in California and have ZERO information on the EPA restrictions (or anything else for that matter) on the 2003s.
- Since I am unable to fork out $20K + for this bike, I will have to get a partial loan, and since the MV cannot be registered in California, dealers out of state are not willing to sell me a bike since the financer will know the owner (me) lives in California and the bike (2002 MV) cannot be registered in California... AAAHHHH!
... any thoughts/comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
- Has anyone used People First for a bike loan and what interest rate am I looking at?
- Are there any dealers out there that can offer some more information?
... and enjoy your MVs you lucky bas#@*d$!!
Many thanks in advance... Nick

I also bought my Senna at Munroe in SF, and got my plates a few days later....no delays! Nick (owner of Munroe) confirms that it may be a problem, but the chance of them catching a 17 digit vin without CA designations are very low! GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!
-- val alparaque (valparaque@aol.com), October 17, 2002.
Val is right about Monroe. I told them I would not buy the MV without it being licensed for the street. Well they did it! What they do is get a whole bunch of new registrations together and put it in the middle of the pile and the DMV clerk will usually miss it and give the tags to them. Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa! Good Luck!

I use PeopleFirst for my Duc. They are great. The interest now is at about 7.00% for 60 months loan (see the website). I got the blank check in 3 days.

California sucks! The fireworks laws suck and joe Davis sucks too! Fuck it!

CALIFORNIA HAS SUCKED FOR A LONG TIME....AND L.A. -SAN DIEGO ARE THE WORST....THE PEOPLE,ATTITUDES AND POLITICS SUCK SUCK SUCK.......SOLUTION,,,,,,,,,DON'T BE THERE!!!!
-- P G (PHLAPPS888@YAHOO.COM), September 11, 2003.
California does suck, well at least the LA area. I am from IL and I moved out here for the weather (like everyone else), but it is completely unbearable. I HATE IT HERE. I've never encountered so many selfish, rude, inconsiderate people in my life. I cannot wait to move away. I am counting the days.
-- Tonia (trmiller@mail.com), October 22, 2003.
i live in the bay area. it's no better up here. poeple in san francisco have no manners or respect for anything but themselves. i hate this little slice of hell and i can't wait to get back to austin!
-- matt (mjkaris@yahoo.com), November 11, 2003.
Matt....Austin is very cool. I can say that with a lil bias because I'm a native Texan too....! But the roads and the scenery here have Austin and Lake Travis beat. I dont miss the HEAT or the mosquitos one single itty-bitty bit. What I do miss is the beautiful women and the downhome friendly atmosphere...and most importantly the FOOD! The FOOD is what Texas is truly all about!give me a shout via email, I like to compare notes about Nor-Cal with Texans ...it keeps things in perspective

You should get your a-- out of LA..or I should say...Hell-A. People are creepy slimy and corrupt here. They give you the run- arounds and are very unfriendly. I'm not surprised (as oppose to the gung-ho lost angelenos who are whining) that Traveler Magazine ranked Lost Angeles as the most unfriendly city in the nation. It's true! You also have smoggy air, and traffic is the worst in Hell-A. I think my lung capacity has decreased since I've been here for four f*cking years. People drive without courtesy, they cut you off when you want to change lanes, and tailgate you. The freeways and the sceneries are U- G-L-Y! Seriously! You see fugly mural drawings on the on and off- ramps, as well as buildings. Lastly, too many brown dwarfs (AKA Mexicans) can't speak English for re-friend beans! They reproduce like rabbits, and pretty soon, LA will be LM.....Los Mexicockville. I'm thinking of moving to either Seattle, San Antonio or Hawaii...but I'm moving out of Hell-A for sure! I really am desperate to get out of this pile of manure!
-- Hell-A (Hellastinkhole@yahoo.com), April 23, 2004.
Are you serious?! Your racist comments are not welcome here, jerk. Go away and don't come back until you're ready to apologize.
-- b (thaknife@yahoo.com), April 25, 2004.
Another goddamn fugly day in Lost angeles. Smog, traffic, asshole people...I'm just fed up with this pile of shit. The city is dirty, runned down by homeless vagrants asking for money at intersections. Then you pass by places like Rampart Park near K-town, and you see a whole bunch of Mexicans congregating there, selling fruit slices probably infected with fly poop, and junk food in general (which is why Mxican girls have beach-ball-sized asses!). Then traffic. It took me 40 minutes just to travel 8 miles from downtown hell-a to Pasadena. Why? Because there was a big car accident. People here don't know how to drive for crap! They don't let you come into their lane if you turn on your signal. They tailgate you if you drive within the speed limit. They use their horn a lot. Shit! I thought people in hell-a was "laid back." Well, I guess I've learned that hell-a is NOT a laid back city. Then you have crooked slimy people in this poop city who give you the run-arounds. You buy something, you later call the owner for more information, and the owner is GONE! Run-arounds..run-arounds..run-arounds...that's all that hell-a is about. For those of you people thinking about moving to hell-a for work, school/college or business....don't come to hell-a!
-- Shit on LA (Hellastinkhole@yahoo.com), April 25, 2004.
Dude...you've become one of THEM...8-)
-- Dude (wbmac@yahoo.com), April 25, 2004.
Ookay..you LA loving scumbag. You probably grew up in this fugly city and that's why you're so gung-ho about this fay-fantasy smog polluted cesspool known as Lost Angeles. I guess YOU are one of the lost people here...typical shallow materialistic scums. That's all they do, run-arounds, do things last minute...f*cking irritating! What's so great about Hell-A? The weather is crappy...hot spring (like today) VERY hot summer and cold winters (well...colder than southern Florida and Hawaii where the weather is BETTER than Hell- A). Then you have imminent earthquake threats. Good! I hope a BIG earthquake hits LA after I move out of this poop-hole in June. I can't wait to get away from dirty freaks!
-- DudeIsLA's B*tch (asdfadsf@yawhore.com), April 26, 2004.
I live nowhere near LA - never been there...wouldn't want to be but with your current attitude you are just what makes LA Hell-A You are part of the problem... and leaving won't help unless YOU change that attitude young man...
-- Dude (wbmac@yahoo.com), April 26, 2004.
hahaha..I knew it! YOu don't live in LA huh? So shut up because you don't know how much of a sh*thole this city is. I contribute to the problem? Pffft...look you four-year old cyber kid. I enjoyed living in other cities prior to living in hell-a. I lived in Denver, Austin, Dallas, NYC, Honolulu and Seattle. Folks there know how to conduct business with ethics and aren't backstabbers. I have never been to such a conservative, racist, disgusting city in my entire life! You try living here for MORE than three years, and you will see the negative aspect and why I'm mad at this polluted hell-hole. Okay?!!
-- DudeIsLA's B*tch (LAsuckhole@yahoo.com), April 28, 2004.
Do you have an MV?
-- Dude (wbmac@yahoo.com), April 28, 2004.
Yeah, I thought this was a bike forum...let's stay on topic shall we?
-- ben kifle (ben_kifle@yahoo.com), April 29, 2004.
Screw California and Lost Angeles. The people are stupid, vapid, shallow, rude and materialistic. I can't stand those kind of people. I hope a big earthquake hits California soon...esp the San GAYbriel valley and basically all of LA county. I'm happy to be moving out of California soon, and never will come back to the pile of shit.
-- California is poop (screwcally@hotmail.com), June 02, 2004.
FUCk It Austin and La both suck. Just got back from Austin, Thought to find something different but nothing. music seen TOTALLY OVER RATED!!!! LA had way better music just some twisted people i would not want to live near. Any body knows of someplace with out LA Slime and Austin dum ass red nicks?
-- Chis Herb (austinguy@msn.com), July 11, 2004.
I've never been to the US so don't know what it's like but I do have a suggestion. Seek some councilling for your pent up aggression. You can't change the world but you can change the way you feel about it, and it would seem to me that it's doing you some real damage beeing that wound up about some stuff you can't change. Just try and chill out a bit more......give yourself a break.
-- Mark M (m.magenis@btinternet.com), July 15, 2004.
YES!!! AUSTIN SUCKS!!! Chris, please pass the word to as many f-ing Californians as you can! Maybe then they will stop pouring into my city by the hundreds every day, stop driving up the cost of everything, stop getting in my way where ever I go, stop congesting my roads and then stop complaining about Austin traffic.Austin was a paradise.....until the Californians doscovered it. How many other cities and states can make the same claim? Ask Oregon, Washington, Arizona, etc.
Oh Yeah! Love my Brutale! If the damn thing ever gets shipped to me!
