Here's a pretty extensive site. She lived from 1814-1903. Her house, which burned down in the 1920s, was at Bush and Octavia Streets, a site that is now Presbyterian Medical Center. There are several books written about Mammy Pleasant. Also the San Francisco Ghost Hunt Tour goes to the area where she lived and tells quit a bit about her. Sensationalized, but still pretty entertaining. I have one of the books, but it is packed as we are in the process of a move, but when I unpack I will email the author's name to you.
