The environment in this forum needs serious attention folks. We are seeing people leaving again and again. Whether protestant or catholic what does the bible teach us ? We are to love our neighbour.Consider the Samaritan who helped the man at the side of the road. This "enemy" was the only one who would come to his aid. What is the Lord trying to tell us ? It's nothing of ourselves. We are only vessels.
Is God's will being accomplished ? Whoever we are, let our actions speak for themselves. Let us magnify Christ by loving one another. Are we here for eloquence of words and persuasive speech ? Who are we trying to kid ? Let us speak words of spirit and love.
Before we speak to someone, let us pray to the Lord first. In everything we do, Christ should be given the first place.

JmjHello, Oliver. You wrote: "Let us speak words of spirit and love."
That sounds like a good idea. However, as we see from the examples of Jesus, St. Paul, Pope John Paul II, and many others, "words of spirit and love" vary from situation to situation. Interesting, productive conversations are usually not those of the bland, vanilla variety! (I like my food with at least a little spice/seasoning -- don't you?)
God bless you.
