I haven't even read your questions reguarding the Catholic church. But I can tell in those five or six topics you posted just now that you most likely asked those questions or inquired about the Catholic church, with the "soul winning" attitude. After being bombarded by many protestants or baptists on how the Catholic church is the new age Babylon, people like me get tired of it fast. So tired of it I don't even want to hear any arguement that anyone may have that the Catholic is wrong. I know it's not perfect.....And I am not blind....I have read the bible front to back several times. But you have to see where devout Catholics are coming from. How offended would you be if someone came to you with "you are the whore of the earth" attitude? People are going to be defensive no matter what.

I AM IN NO WAY SAYING YOU ARE A BAD PERSON! But you have to realize that Catholics are getting it from all ends. And personally I think the church serves it's purpose in ways that many may not understand. So just coming across with the attitude that you have now shows me that you weren't really interested in the Catholic doctrine. You were intrested in "soul winning". You may not be trying to convert people here but it seems that whatever information you got from people here was to be used for conversion or just to laugh at "us blind Catholics"

Bottom line you can't blame anyone here for being bothered by your presence. Change your attitude and you will see others change as well. One of the only things my father had ever taught me was "lead by example" and it has been the greatest advise that i have ever gotten.
