Hi all! I know I've been pretty quiet on the forum lately, but even though I haven't had much to say, I have enjoyed reading everyone else's postings. I have been busy as usual, getting things in order so I can graduate this spring, and applying to school boards for jobs in September. As I've probably mentioned before, the job market is good right now, so I am very hopeful that I will find a good position somewhere.

My thesis research, on the other hand, has been a bumpy ride lately. My plans to study teachers' job satisfaction in urban and suburban schools fell through in mid-December, when the Toronto District School Board decided that my study was "too sensitive" to be performed by an outside researcher. Go figure! So after much stress on my part, I have reworked my idea to deal with student teachers -- a much more receptive subject pool. Hopefully, this will be a success.

Other than that, I don't have much to say. Life only gets busier and busier for me over the upcoming months, and I'm looking forward to a relaxing reading week to take my mind off it. I wish you all a good winter term (or at least to all the students on the forum!) and here's hoping spring will return soon!
