Can anyone tell me if Abbey National Staff were paid commission or incentives to sell MIG policies in 1991/2?

I asked the Abbey how much commission their Advisor got when they sold me this worthless (to me) policy and they told me she got nothing. This I find hard to believe.

Also when I make a complaint to the FO as I am now in a deadlock situation, do I or should I give the name of the Abbey Advisor who sold me the policy.

If I get to court will I be able to cite her as a witness?
