HOPE IN PRAYER

May I speak this out to whom it may help, to whom will hear?

My husband and I had the most anointed prayer time this morning. We began with the intention of praying the rosary as part of a novena for the success of an upcoming event in our parish next weekend.

We entered into speaking of how the Lord is healing us in different areas of our interior lives and began praying for our children who are now 21,23 and 25. We became acutely aware of some specific mistakes and outbursts of anger when they were little. These outbursts of anger stemmed from our own lack of knowledge, our own woundedness and fears and needs to control.

The Lord was present and we could actually invite Him to be there, at that particular time, in the particular room- to heal and reverse the affects of our actions. To heal the situation and the child. For our Lord is outside of our perception of time {chronos time}, He is in the past-present-and future, {Chiros time}, and we can call upon Him to redeem the past and heal our children! It is such a powerful and wonderful characteristic of Jesus.

I want to speak this out for moms and dads who ache for their children. It's a victorious way to pray, Christ has come to redeem all those parts in our lives where we have failed. We can bring Him into each memory we have, for to Him time is no blockage, only our wills.

We actually enter into this kind of Chiros time every time we celebrate the Eucharist at Mass. Our crucified Lord at Calvary is present with us, or rather, we are present with Him. Glory to God. Theresa

Thank you for sharing that beautiful story, Ms. Theresa. Yes, I do need restorations from the Lord for my children for harm I have done all four of my blessed children, and grace to do better in the future!

Thank you for your prayers!

Love you,

Gail

Theresa,

That was beautiful.

As well as prophetic and profound.

Though the miles separate my husband and I, (his reserve unit has been activated) we were just emailing each other today about this very subject.

I think it is easier for him to see this now, being far enough from the forest to see the trees, so to speak.

Your insights fill me with hope for my children, and future grandchildren!

Thanks, Theresa. I think You have a beautiful soul, and enjoy reading your writings.

You said, "Our crucified Lord at Calvary is present with us, or, rather, we are present with Him"

Indeed we are, and I pray that my brother Olly will be given the Grace to understand this one day(please God). The celebration of Mass is a participation in the one eternal sacrafice of Jesus, who was crucified, died, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven. That which is always present to the Father, who does NOT know time, is made present in this time and space for us.

When Olly becomes a Catholic one day (please God) and receives Holy Communion . He will be receiving the risen Lord in Holy Communion.

Have a blessed Lent Theresa, and may the Holy Lord bring your son back to the Church of his Holy Mom.

And May the dear Lord bring Mr. Richards back to the Catholic Church too. You and the family have a blessed Lent Mr.Richards.
