Don't you have to download edonkey as well? Then get the download at sharereactor and edonkey downloads it for you. I set it up long ago but wasn't impressed with the download rate so I uninstalled it. Try that and see.

i downloaded freewire (i think thats it) from edonkey.com, but i dont if thats what i was supposed to download. hmpf im sooo confused *crys*

Okay, I downloaded and installed edonkey2000, went to Sharereactor and didn't bother to register with either place because I hate having to register. Then I went to "anime", scrolled down and picked WHR just as a test. I ticked a couple of files and below that I said "select files." Btw, the sharereactor file is very iffy and slow. Anyway, after a while a new page came up and then I clicked "add selected files" and it sent everything to edonkey and started downloading. It's pretty sloooooowwwww but definitely better than Kazaa. 3 hours to download an episode is not very encouraging. Still they have quite a selection. Hope you have more luck!

Ummm...I installed edonkey. THen after I click on the sharereactor links, it's appearing in the download window(of edonkey) as loading???... How could I download files from edonkey?

It should be working then, click on I think the shared thingy or something, I uninstalled my copy so I can't work with you here. As for how it manages to work I'm not quite sure but it's not fast enough for me.

I'm not sure. It's a school LAN so it's probably higher than that. The internet is really fast, I love every moment of it so I guess I've gotten a bit spoilt. ^_^

also d.load speeds are always governed by the available sources and the bandwidth those sources allow. try dloading at a different time of day. :) (share reactor appears to be down right now, but give it a day or two) you could always try grockster if you want quik tv episodes 45 minute divx files are watchable, and take less time to dload than they do to watch, but stick with e mule for 500 mb avi files etc, as grockster has a lot of fakes. remember to remove age filter from grockster if u r gettin hentai file nexus and file donkey both have e mule linked files. but share reactor has far more, and few fakes. if you are connecting through a router or firewall, you wll need to have admin rights, and open the relevant e mule ports (4662 tcp and 4672 udp) otherwise you will not connect to the servers properly, some routers can also suffer from udp request swamping when using e donkey/mule, the solution to which i just dont know. to check your connecting properly connect and look at your id. low id = bad connection, try reconnecting a few times til u get a high id. if you recieve an error message " your port **** is unreachable you have a low id" follow the blue links in that error report to understand more about the problem. hope this helps.

The one thing everyone is forgetting here is the "queues". When I download, my queue is like, 120 or something, and even when there is no queue it's still pretty slow due to the crappy server which you also have to (you guessed it) wait in queue for. Geez nobody gonna wait that long... , yeh connecting this, adjusting that, switching this, will still make the truth painfully clear that 56k is still just 56k...

I am from Norway and the best broadband (DSL) I could get here in Prinsdal (Right outside of Oslo) was 1024kb/256kb and thats not half as half as half as fast as 10mb. WOOOW 10mb I dream of that. In the centrum in Oslo I could get 10mb, but since I live outside of centrum I have to live with 1024kb. Thats ok for me, its better than 56kb. I Think KaZaa and WinMx is running slow. Edonkey is running low or not at all. Sharemonkey is running better and KaZaaLite its running a bit faster. I think it still could be even faster. I wish i could find a better solution.... Maybe I have set the connection wrong. Hmm....
