I am seeking information on Mornen E Sanders who married Jesse A. Morton of Stanly Co. They were the parents of Joseph Alexander Morton who was the father of my great grandmother Azzie Raye Morton. I need any help I can get I have come to a dead end and seeing as I live out of state any help in finding this information would be great. Tracy

Jess A llen Morten and Wife Mornen E Saunders are buried at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Dates for Jesse are 12-15-1839 - 12- 7-1908, Mornen 12-11-1895 2-9-1917. Children were Eva Tennessee , M Manes Huneycutt, Joseph Aaron married MARCINIE Hedabelle Furr, Martha J married Alexander Lambert (buried at Canton Baptist church) Margaret married Henry Jackson Whitley, William A died young abt 23 yrs old Buried at Bear Creek, Sylvester married Alma Newbaum . I don't really have anything else my line is the Morton's. You can go to the Stanly Co site under Cemetery registration and see these cemeteries.
