One of the great acknowledged orators of the last century was Bishop Sheen of New York City. Once when asked " How does one convert a person to follow Christ? "His answer was direct and simple. He expressed it all in three words " Kindness - Kindness - Kindness. " Let us here attempt to emulate that.

Divine Humor. I recently watched one of his old shows from the '50s and have listened to many of his tapes. He continuously made excellent use of humor. As an example; in this particular show he discussed "Divine Humor" and repeated the following experience:During a question and answer period one night, a student sarcastically asked Bishop Sheen the great Catholic teacher, "Suppose you tell us how Jonah managed to survive for three days and three nights in the belly of a whale." Bishop Sheen replied, "Frankly, I don’t know; but when I get to heaven I’ll ask Jonah." The youth shot back, "Suppose Jonah didn’t go to heaven?" Bishop Sheen said, "Then you ask him!"
