Now that things are getting REALLY hairy. . .greenspun.com : LUSENET : FRL friends : One Thread |
Just a reminder that you might want to keep an eye on things via Currents, especially if the "server busy" message occurs too often on Greenspun. If you're not registered, you will be allowed only five views per day and will be unable to post. This is to discourage spamming while still allowing newbies to read a little and see if they want to register. The sections are as follows:
Current News, where we try to keep up with the very latest developments to keep everyone informed.
Threats - Credible Alerts, Rumors and Preparation Info, such as the just-posted (7:30 Pm eastern), "Alert - Back to Orange tonight."
Non-News Posts, where all other news, information, hints and jokes may be posted.
And, last but by no means least, FRL Friends at ezboard, where you can meet if Greenspun is down or too busy.
Please note that by judicious use of the limited viewing feature, we have cut our expected costs for the next six months by over 25%, so your particiopation in the board shouldn't push costs over the edge.

Thanks for the update OG! Nice to see you in these parts!! I got an EZsupporter thingee for SAR's board, so I can read to my heart's content! Thanks again, for being so supportive! BTW, I came across the old ahem, fart thread yesterday, and wept with laughter, yet again!! THAT one was truly timeless!

Wish I could spend more time on fun things but I've just got too much to do in real life and not enough awake time to do it.We're entering a possibly dangerous period right now and contact with one another is, to say the least, reassuring. I know how frustrating it is to get a "server busy" notice when you're trying to touch base with someone as something ominous develops.
Isn't that supporter thing good for all the boards? I dunno, Barefoot and SAR keep up with all that.
Yep, the fart thread! It's STILL funny after all this time!
I'm posting all the relevant stuff I can find (and some irrelevant stuff too) and y'all may as well have a look at it too :-)
