I'm very interested in finding a way to make a website for free where I could put up Anime and other stuff. (downloads) If any of you have any idea how to do this for free, please tell me. Please oh please oh please.....

itll be hard (especially if its anime eps) since you can only get about 15mb of free space..

there was one site where they give you 100mb free space...forgot it though....

I got a really fast connection whoever asked. I know it wont be easy, but anything with free space would rock. I could even do it 1 by 1, with 1 episode or video per week. I dont use FTP though, too many hassles. I'd make them just direct downloads.

mmm i am using ftp but the trail out version. the software name is Cuteftp version 5 or 6 i can't remember and version 3. do anyone of you know any crack or hack to extend the trail period

This would be free for you and cheap for whoever would be requesting anime. Instead of putting live downloads from your site, which as far as I know always cost money, put a plain list of what you have and make it available through streamload, so that people would make requests instead of downloading directly. The advantage with streamload is that just about all the anime ever made seems to be available up there, and it's super fast. I won't say more in case you've already rejected this possibility for some reason. Email me if you have no clue what I'm talking about and I'll explain further.

You can put up your own fserve in MIRC and share them with everyone else. besides this way you get priority in accesing everyone else's fserves and download some more anime/manga/drama.

You will not get anything suitable from any public, free webspace provider, unless you're willing to open lots of accounts and split your files in hundred pieces. There are few possiblities to get unlimited space, without transfer/filesize restrictions. Maybe you´re in luck: http://www.free-webhosts.com/ but be warned, some of the good private hosts tend to have ZERO tolerance for anime or to get down and never come back again :´(

If you have a fast,stable connection - T3 or something - with high UPSTREAM you should consider running your own http server. Else there´s popular p2p: simply share on Kazaa, DirectConnect, Edonkey. Running an fserve on IRC is also possible and there are a LOT more ways to share: BitTorrent, Hotline, Imesh, WinMX, Streamload, Magic Waiter,... If you want p2p, KaZaA Lite is the easiest. If you want to provide direct downloads there´s only FTP/HTTP, but for everything there are good tutorials, and ppl will help you for sure, since we want to leech more anime ;)

Most websites don't give u enuff space to load up anime...... so i suggest either getting an fserve like the guy above said...... or download Serv-U FTP server..... set up yur own FTP.
