Just wondering about an anime called Kanon, does anyone have any opinions

Yeah, I just finished the 9th episode... it's pretty good. Apparently, Kanon was originally a hentai dating sim for the pc. The hentai parts were taken out and it was revised then released for the dreamcast as an adventure game. Then, they made it into a non-hentai anime. It's a sortof sad, but very good story about a guy named Yuichi who returns to his cousin's hometown after 7 years. He can't remember any of his childhood, and keeps meeting people that he had forgotten about.

nani? hentai ka? It was hard to think that it was once a hentai game. demo, it was kinda intriguing why yuuichi was always and only surrounded by girls. so that's why. anyway, twisting story. has many japanese stories to tell. for example, makoto is yuuichi's old fox friend...that tokugawa hid lots of treasures all around japan...? ....it's kinda heavy....for those who loves romance... dunno why though. ^_^ kawaii onna-san. shoujo maybe. ^_^

on another note... are there any other anime with the same type of theme as Love Hina or Chobits ? Love that fanboy anime ^_^

It's a very sad but beautiful story. When I watched the first few parts, I thought this is just another romantic anime. But as I watched on, it keeps getting sadder especially the part where he discovered that Ayu is actually someone whom he fell in love with 7 years ago who had met an accident.

I guess he was so sad that his mind closed off all the sad memories. The part where Ayu made her last wish that Yuuichi to forget her was the saddest. I was almost moved to tears.

But when Yuuichi managed to wake Ayu up from her coma and reunite with her, it's was beautiful. Though I felt sad for Nayuki who was all along waiting for Yuuichi.

But nevertheless, the director has managed to bring out a nice romantic story about Ayu's love for Yuuichi.
