Free Booklet on Purgatory and "The Secret of the Rosary" by St. Louis de Montfort

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Hello Everyone,

I would like to offer anyone and everyone who is visiting this forum two brand new wonderful Catholics booklets -- free for the asking.

They are: “Read Me or Rue It… How to Avoid Purgatory” by Father Paul O’Sullivan and “The Secret of the Rosary” by St. Louis De Montfort. These two booklets are very powerful (and they have changed my life).

Just email me your mailing address and I will mail you a copy of each of these two booklets, free of charge. As an act of good will, I will also pay for the postage costs. I only have 25 copies of each booklet so I can’t send them out to everybody on this forum (although I wish I could).

“The Secret of the Rosary” was written almost two and a half centuries ago by St. Louis de Montfort. Today, in the light of the specific requests of Fatima it is more urgent than ever before that Catholics say the Rosary, propagate it to others, and lay special emphasis on it as the means to attaining world peace and our salvation. De Montfort calls the Rosary “The mystical rose tree of Jesus and Mary in life, death, and eternity.” He says that the roses of your rosary will “never wilt or die, and they will be just as exquisite thousands of years from now as they are today.” After reading this incredible booklet, I will never think of the rosary as something “of little importance”. I will never think of the “Our Father” and Hail Mary” as anything less than exquisite prayers. This booklet has helped me to understand the deep meaning of these two prayers and how highly pleasing they are to the Holy Trinity, Jesus, and Mary when we say each one of them with great fervor and devotion.

“Read Me or Rue it… How to Avoid Purgatory” is another fantastic booklet. For all of you who are visiting this forum and who are unclear or are totally ignorant regarding the great doctrine of Purgatory… this booklet will surely help you to come to know fully what we and our brethren can do to save ourselves and others from it’s horrible pains and sufferings…

This booklet is for everyone. As the author Father Paul O’Sullivan puts it: “Some books are good and may be read with profit. Others are better and should be read without fail. There are, however, books of such sterling worth by reason of the counsels they suggest, the conviction they carry with them, the urge to action they give us that it would be sheer folly not to read them. Read Me or Rue it belongs to this class. It is for your best interest, dear friend, to read it and re-read it, to ponder well and deeply on its contents. You will never regret it, rather great and poignant will be your regret if you fail to study its few but important pages.”

Again, just send me your email address and will happily mail out to anyone in the US or Canada (Catholic or Non-Catholic) a copy of both these two wonderful and illuminating booklets free of charge (while my extra copies last).

God Bless,

Sincerely,

Robert P

That is extremely generous of you Robert, and were it not for already having those two booklets, I would gladly accept. I encourage anyone who does not have them to request your free copies.

Hello,

Just letting everyone on this forum know (again) that I still have lots of extra copies of these two great Catholic booklets leftover -- and it will be my pleasure to send them out (for free) to anyone who wants them.

God Bless, Sincerely,

Robert P

Robert, thank you for your generous offer. Do you have any copy available, especially the booklet 'Read me or Rue It'? My brother has given me a copy in 1991 but I don't think I read it until this past weekend and it really inspired me. I would like to give a copy to my sister in-law.

If you still have available copy, here is my address: 98-500 Koauka Loop, Apt. 5M Aiea, Hawaii 96701.

Thank you again for you generous offer and God Bless.

Sincerely,

Mary

Robert,

I know it's been a while since you posted this, but if you still have copies of the booklet(s), I would love a copy.

Adam,

I am not sure Robert set up the thread to email him when a new post is generated. But I emailed him at his listed email address and he responded in a few days. You may wish to try that also.

God Bless.
