Do you like Vampires? Hellsing is absolutely awesome. Wolf's Rain is also a good one, but it's not as violent as Hellsing. And, I also downloaded the first episode of Last Exile. That had a lot of fighting (not too bloody), but I haven't seen anything other than that first ep.

Well if you like fighting, I would suggest Neon Genisis Evangalion. Giant Robots fighting 13 really stong monsters. what more could you ask for.

If you want action, interweaved with the best storyline ever, try Gundam Wing, or maybe Gundam 0080. I've also heard Blue Gender is good, but sadly, I've never seen an episode, and no one will tell me how to get the eps.
