I tried using kazaa to get #2, and it did finish downloading, but would freeze after about 2 seconds of playing. The audio kept going but the picture froze. I tried fast forwarding the story, but it stayed frozen. Help!

a few things, 1. The wolfpack productions site that you linked me to doesnn't have Sonic X available anymore 2. Tails2k's episode 3 and 4 files don't work anymore, because the page that the episodes come from has deleted episodes 3 and 4. 3. Get Kazaa-lite, Spybot Search and destroy, and Netants you'll love em.

Oh, yeah. You may have to sign up for File Planet's e-mail system in order to access the free public servers in order to aquire the Sonic X episodes. The process will only take a few minutes and you don't actually have to use it. You'll be pleased since the files are 640x480 res, 24-bit color, 24 or 29.97 fps and have either 48kHz or 32kHz Stereo sound.

For a while I had thought that the episodes located here, http://www.planetdreamcast.com/sonic/see/sonic_x/index.html were tainted or had something in them that cause them to lock up and affect my other avi files. (what happened is the video would freeze or loop but the sound would keep playing, my other files started doing this too after playing the wolfpack subs) but I have remedied the problem.

As friends on the TailsOnlyHentai yahoo group had told me over and over "You need to update your version of DiVX" I did this and now the files play just fine. I have eps 1-5 all subtitled. I would like to get ahold of episode 6 in subtitles if anyone wknows where I can get it I would like to know. I am no longer using Kazaa because of the risks and because anytime I do get an alledged "fansub" from there it turns out to be a poorly encoded plain japanese file with no subtitle text at all.

I have caught a glimpse of the "americanized" Sonic X and I can't really say that I like it all that much. Yeah its nice to not have to look at words and I can just watch and listen, but the dialogue is just totally butchered and that new theme just isn't as good as Sonic Drive. The voice cast is crap. As someone else on IMDB put it "Tails sounds like Ash from Pokemon" and unless my ears decieve me, Amy sounds alot like Lina Inverse from The Slayers. It bugs me how folks always re-use voice actors when they dub an anime.

Bradley Pierce, Hailey Joe Osmet, Christopher Evan Welch. They all would've been perfect for the voice of Tails.

If you have a DVD disc with subtitled eps you could use the DVDx2.0 program I have in this yahoo group ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DVD_Ripping/ ) to make high quality DivX rips of them. You'd need DiVX Pro codec to do it and you'd have to follow the instructions. But it would be worth it.

SonicX Episodes: You can find RM files of some of the japanese episodes at SonicAnime.net. They also have The US SonicX Episodes downloadable in RM format about 1/2 after the episode shows on FoxBox. Subbed Episodes: These are all the large size (~170MB each) in AVI and Require DivX 5.0.5 or higher to play them. I need episode 6 and up.. Preferably AVI files. I have searched everywhere! The sites I tested did'nt work or had only RM's.. And I can't play RM's because my realplayer is having problems. No matter what program you are using, to view the subbed episodes you need to install DivX 5.0.5 or higher. Also for the guy who wanted WMVs, I am currently taking all of the sonic X episodes Ihave and converting them to WMVs. The WMVs are Windows Media 9 VBR Med/High Quality and the size is 320x240 (some of the subbed are 352x240 to read subs). They are 40 - 60 MB each and all come from high quality source (ex 640x480 180MB DivX). I have the translated version of Sonic X Episodes 1-7, 9, 12, 29, 30 and 31. Some arent translated though, Im just happy I got my hands on em. The first few are in AVI format and are around 176mb per episode. Too large to send to people in my point of view. I also burned them onto CDs just in case my computer F^(%s up again, Ha! But I dont think I can help, cuz itz all downloaded by using Kazaa, and it took me 3 days to get those downloaded, big pain in the neck...

Subbed means a japanese video subtitled: For example Sonic X in japanese but subtitled in esnglish

Subbed means that they have taken an episode that is in Japanese and put the translation in English at the bottom of the episode. So while the characters are speaking Japanese, you can read what they are saying in English. Also I would like to say that I have recorded every episode of Sonic X in English and good quality and have them on my computer, I just can't find a way to host them for people to download. I have tried an FTP server, but I have limited bandwidth.
