My fiance and I have just moved to Oregon, but will be getting married back in Missouri.

We have not found a church that we are comfortable with here just yet, but want to make sure that when we do that the new church recognizes our marriage.

Can anyone tell me what documentation needs to sent to allow for this?

Dear David,

By "finding a church you are comfortable with", I assume you mean finding the Catholic parish you wish to be part of? If so, there is no reason why you would have to prove that you are married when you move into the parish. However, if such proof should ever be necessary for any reason, the marriage certificate you receive from the church where you marry is for that purpose.
