i heard a lot abt Inuyasha but haven't seen it myself. was thinking of downloading but seems like there r a lot of eps. is it really that good? the story reminds me of fushi yuugi, which is my favorite. are the two similar - plot, sense of humour, etc?

u could say that. i mean miaka is sort of like kagome (lead caharacter in inu) u know being whisked away to another time period with a cute guy(s). if u want a summary of the inu series read older posts and u'll see. but i could see how u think they're similar i suggest looking into inu. its good, but at times it goes really slow and the plot gets a little repetitive. but trust me, ur in good hands with it.

I've never thought of that, but yes fushi yuugi is a bit like inuyasha. I agree with the other person that posted, kagome (main character) is kind of like miaka in circumstance.

Here the basic of the starting story -

Inuyasha who is half-demon half-human steals a sacred jewel named The Shikon No Tama. He wants the jewel to become full demon, hating his human half. But kikyo the shrine priestess pins him to a tree with a magic arrow. (Kikyo And Inuyasha Loved Each Other..well you have to see the series to get the understanding) And kikyo died from a fatal wound after she pined inuyasha. She told her little sister to burn her body with the shikon no tama so that no evil can get to it again. 50 years later in present day japan, Kagome, is pulled down a well to the past to find she is the recarnation of kikyo.

In sense of humor, i kind of lean to fushi yuugi having the more funny mouments. Inuyasha..is a bit ..more serious. It has a fantasy/adventure set to it and its more romance then comedy.

fushigi yuugi is one of my favorite animes and i would recommend u watch inuyasha too. although its alot of episodes, its worth watching
