ooo fb is one of my favorites! well its about this girl tohru honda. her mother and father are both dead so soon tohru decides to reside in a tent lest she burden anyone by living with them. one day, she stumbles upon a house neraby her tent and she meets yuki sohma (the "prince" of her high school--obviously the most popular) and shigure sohma yuki's cousin. soon after, yuki and shigure invite tohru to live with them in their house since she has nowhere else to go, the mystery of the sohma family is revealed when tohru accidentally falls onto another member of the sohma family, kyo sohma and he turns into a cat! if a member of the opposite sex falls onto a member of this family of if they are exposed to a great deal of stress, they change into the twelve animals of the zodiac (i think its twelve, forgive me if i'm wrong) but much to their embarassment, they change back but in the nude. so thus begins this cute and utterly hilarious story. they say tohru can stay with them if she keeps their secret, but its not always so easy! i myself haven't finished the series since the dvds are an outrageous amount of money but so far its been a blast! i hope my explanation helped u!

A girl finds out this secret about a family. The "leader" of the family want to erase her mind of the family but other members of the family convince him not to. So no the girl is living with about 3 members of the family. Might not sound awesome but it is really good. Even though the beginning sounds kinda plain but it's like my absolute favorive. The anime is really good, and it also has it's funny moments.

its a really interting story with likable characters great laughs and we can all learn from tohru too~~ u can download it of kazaa but they are japenese fansubed ones (which I enjoyed) or you could buy the 4 DVDs real expensive but I have got them (had to beg my mom) they also have the manga but only in japenese but I heard they are probably gonna translate it hope so ;;

it's a funny show with the right amt of drama. each of the character has a sad side to their past, which makes the show real touching at times. my favorite souma character is momiji the rabbit! i wonder if there's going to be a new season to it cos some of the 12 animals haven't shown up yet, and the part about the curse (is there ever going to be a cure??) is quite ambiguous. but it's one of my favorite too!!

go to this site http://www.geocities.com/ai_no_hyde/Fruits_Basket.html i think to understand the story better, u'll have to read the manga. there r some characters in the manga which did not (or have not?) appear in the anime. this website has explanations based on the manga. be sure to click on the *More Info* to find out more details on each character's background. u'll be touched by some of them b4 even having to watch the series.
