Does your wedding band have to round if your engagment ring isn't? My ring has a shape to it and we want to make a band to go with it, is this against any tradition or rule?

There are no canonical rules governing the design of wedding rings. However, I am curious - what shape other than round would a ring be? After all, fingers are round :-)

Possibly polygonal, of any number of sides would be my guess.
