It seems that things are getting a bit personal lately. We all need to take a breath, be still and know God, then go back to helping people who post legitimate questions instead of going at each other.

JP, you want to take all the fun out of it. Jousting should not hurt, what hurts is the failure I see of people to examine what they do not want to see and still call themselves Catholic. That is not what the Ursulines taught me. The quest is truth.

Ursulines are the order of nuns who were my teachers in elementary school. A great bunch of women.

Karl, Yes, I have been in law enforcement since I was 19. (County, municipal and for the last 15 years state). I am 45 now.

You're right, sometimes, we all need to reexamine. Reconciliation is wonderful.
