Several creators have an extremely strong skill in character development, which makes the characters so enjoyable and carries the story along. No offense to anyone, but it's been a while since Disney came out with anything comparable... they're too focused on plot, setting, graphics, and jokes nowadays. They don't have that "magic" they had in earlier movies like The Lion King.

Lots of people like anime because there are so many genres to choose from. romance, comedy and action are my favorites. Also it's a good way to pick up some japanese. You wouldn't believe how many words you can pickup if you listen. The thing that's hard is resisting to add in a japanese word every now and then. I do it all the time. My friends are starting to get used to it.^,^

Lion King? lol its no anime. Anime is so much better than the regular cartoons you see in america (or whereever you live) and most actually have a plot, plus they are drawn well. :)

yeah! anime makes all fantasies come true, in the best possible way, whether it's sweet romance, action, horror, blah blah blah (but i'll leave out hentai). but i hate it when they make drama series (live action) out of it. kind-of spoil the fantasy part...
