Hi Jacob, think about Jims suggestion, it might seem a bit nasty and harshly worded (which it was) but his idea about seeking some sort of professional counselling is a good one.Youre welcome here any time of course, take care and Peace!
-- Kiwi (csisherwood@hotmail.com), July 17, 2003.
Just to let Jim and the rest of you know, I did and still am getting "professional help". I am taking 3 different meds because of all this that happend to me....I am taking Depression pills, Anxiety pills and sleeping pills......This is not a joke and I wish you guys would cut the crap *Jim*........I was sent to a Crisis House after I got out of the hospital where I had to stay for two weeks...And I had A LOT of counsling sessions...Believe me I got more attention then I needed there.....First thing I get asked is about my home situation, then I get asked about my sexual orientation, and then I get asked if I am taking drugs ...I am NOT as Jim said looking for ANY kind of attention, I just wish you could be going through what I am going through right now because you wouldnt think that it is funny...JIM!!! I am really F***D up in my head at the moment, dealing with sexuality issues and family issues and stuff like that. When all of this first happend last May, A lot of people including my own "FAMILY" didnt believe me...And finally EVERYONE in family and ALL of my friends believe me.....Not to sound rude if I havent already, but people like you Jim are why victims (especially boys) keep quiet about this kind of stuff. They dont want to be called liars or made to look like they are seeking help for their problems because boys are told to "Big strong, dont cry over it!" . I pray that nothing happens to your kids (if you have any) because just a small unwanted touch can screw their minds up just as much as mine is now....I really do pray for people like you Jim.....And to the rest of you, again thankyou for all your prayers...Jacob....PS...Sorry for the sermon, That was not very Christian-like of me.
-- Jacob (flake777@hotmail.com), July 17, 2003.
PLEASE JUST IGNORE EVERYTHING I POSTED IF YOU THINK I AM JOKING ABOUT ALL THIS...I NEVER MEANT TO START ANY KIND OF TROUBLE WITH ANY OF YOU.....PLEASE DONT RESPOND TO ANYTHING I POST IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME... LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I DONT WANT ATTENTION FROM ANY OF YOU, THE ONLY REASON I MADE MY ORIGINAL POSTING BACK IN MAY WAS BECAUSE I WAS HURTING AND CONFUSED ABOUT A LOT OF STUFF...WELL NOW I AM 100X's BETTER THAN I WAS LAST MAY AND NOW I HAVE A CASE I HAVE TO DEAL WITH....SO AGAIN, IGNORE THIS POST IF YOU DONT TAKE ME SERIOUSLY....IF YOU POST TO THIS MESSAGE AND DONT BELIEVE ME, THEN OBVIOUSLY THAT MEANS THAT YOU ARE THE ONE SEEKING FOR ATTENTION...SO AGAIN...PLEASE DONT RESPOND TO MY POSTINGS IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME!!! GOD BLESS!
-- Jacob (Flake777@hotmail.com), July 17, 2003.
Jacob,As you can see, it appears that Paul has deleted Jim's post - thankfully. It was a message from the devil himself trying to heap more pain on you than he already has . . . please try not to let it get to you.
I am very thankful you've found the help you've needed and continue to need and have pursued a course to bring justice to the situation and I believe everyone on this forum would agree with that. I'm also glad that you've kept us updated from time to time to let us know of your progress.
Stay the course and trust in Jesus. There's healing in His wings.

JacobDo you believe, this terrible experience was a form of Chastisment that God allowed because you left the truth. Perhaps God is warning you to get out of the church?
You know, if you continually rebel against God, God's hand will be very heavy on you. You will never be at peace. I thank you for showing me the truth, through family Radio. This forum continues to support all the end time verses that Harold speaks about!
Beg God for his mercy and come back home brother!!!
May God give you wisdom!!!!!! Peace!

God does not contradict Himself. He has already said that all men are to belong to His Church. Therefore, he never calls anyone to leave His Church, which is the pillar and foundation of truth, for it is only truth which sets men free, and it is only in His Church that the fullness of revealed truth can be found.

Christian Soldier:Apart from being rude and insensitive, it is also very unbiblical to consider Jacob's suffering as a punishment for sin.
I don't have my Bible handy, but you can find Jesus's comment on the idea that the blind man was reaping the consequences of his sin. Also read the book of Job. Read what the epistles and your favorite book of revelation say about the sufferings of the early Christians.
Why don't you test your friend Harold instead of using his opinions as a benchmark to judge the teachings of a Church that has a continuous tradition that goes back to Christ and the apostles. You may be surprised to learn that all serious Bible scholars reject the idea that Revelation is supposed to be a cryptic prophecy like the writings of Nostradamus.

... and the Lord said unto Harold, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." (ChristianSoldier 16:19)"I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself on Family Radio, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth." (1 ChristianSoldier 3:15)
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires" (2 Timothy 4:3 - the Word of God)

C.S.'s comments are not only grossly wrong, but rude and abusive as well. To heap such nonsense on someone who's experienced something as traumatic and life-impacting as Jacob has is unacceptable.Paul, realizing that C.S.'s comments might not qualify for deletion under normal circumstances, doesn't it seem right to protect Jacob from this kind of abuse - considering what he's been through and the healing process he's walking through even now?
C.S. - comments like that (if truly from you and not an impostor) demonstrate your cowardice and total lack of Christian (or any other) character. It's easy to take potshots in an anonymous internet forum where your safe from the otherwise well-earned kick in the a** that I would personally administer.

JacobThe responses I just got from my last post was not to be taken in a bad way. I truly feel bad in what happend. Nevertheless, our God is absolutely sovereign. Neither Satan nor the world can do anything to harm us without God's permission. In fact, everything that happens to us has been decreed by God. He is using these persecution and trials to chasten us. Thus, the Bible reminds us in Job 5:17, "Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty."
This truth is amplified in Hebrews 12:5-13. "And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons......"
But we need to also remember that God is chastening us for a reason. "Happy" it says, "is the man whom God correcteth." Verse 5 of Hebrews 12 continues: "…nor faint when thou art rebuked of him." In other words, God does not want us to be discouraged either. Remember the parable of the sower? Jesus likens the seed that fell on rocky places to the man who at first receives the world with joy, but who, because he has no root, quickly falls away when trouble or persecution comes. Such a person was never saved.
Before I close, let me offer one last advice by going back to verse 5, where God reminds us not to despise His chastening. Well, that verse begins with this remark: "And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children…" You see, when we try to solve our problems with our own strength, we tend to forget the advises God has given us in the Scripture.
For example, Psalm 1:1 says, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful." Yet, when troubles come our way, we often rush to seek advice from worldly experts. The problem is, the solutions that they recommend are typically at odds with God's way.
In II Chronicles, God gives us a fine example of this kind of stumbling. Verse 2 of Chapter 14 first assures us that King Asa of Judah was decidedly a child of God, saying, "And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God." But then we read in Chapter 16, verses 12,13:
" And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians. And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one an fortieth year of his reign. "
God no doubt recorded that sad incident in the Bible to show us that He was not pleased with Asa's efforts to seek the physicians, instead of turning to Him. So, whenever we need any kind of consultation, be sure to turn first to the Bible itself. And if we don't know how to apply the Word to our problems, then seek out mature Christians that are well versed with the Scripture.
In the final analysis, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Eph. 6:12).
God Bless, Brother!!!!! Peace

"In fact, everything that happens to us has been decreed by God"A: That is absolutely false! Much of what happens to us is the direct result of someone - either ourselves or someone else - REJECTING what has been decreed by God, and choosing to do exactly the opposite!
"He is using these persecution and trials to chasten us"
A: God does use circumstances in our lives as possible channels of grace, should we accept such grace when offered. Thus, Paul can write, "we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God" (Romans 8:28). However, these "things" from which God can produce eventual good include a great many things which God never decreed, willed, or desired to happen.
"Happy" it says, "is the man whom God correcteth"
A: It is blasphemous to suggest that sexual assault at the hands of a perverted, sinful human being is "correction by God". While God may indeed offer the victim grace to deal with the matter, and eventual strength from dealing with it in response to that grace, such sinful, ungodly acts are NEVER the will of God, and are NEVER sent by God.

Jacob, ((((hugs)))) It's been awhile. I'm glad you're holding on. May Our Blessed Mother keep her mantle around you. While a representative of Christ Church tried to molest you physically, a diabolical agent who calls himself Christian tries to molest you spiritually and intellectually. God has not decreed that this happen to you. God allows us free will. The person who violated you was acting on his own free will, apart from God, not by God's decree! This is what happens when those in ERROR attempt to interpret Scripture for themselves. Thoroughly disgusting, and utterly UN-Christian. You have our love, prayers, and support. And nothing, I repeat nothing, that you have done has brought this upon you. You are an innocent bystander, and a victim. Pray for those who persecute you...both the violator and C.S. Obviously, they both need it.Pax Christi.
(Sorry, that made me quite angry.)

Only the Church which Christ Himself founded on Peter, (the Rock, the first Pope) has been given the authority to teach in His name. The Bible came from the Church, and can only be interpretted correctly by the Church. 2Peter 1:20 "Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation..."
Viva el Papa!

AnnaRead the book of Job a let God speak and teach you some understaning. Or call the pope and ask him to read it for you and to interpret some scripture. Apparently you do not know the God of the Bible.
If you got ears to here.... God tells us "behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."
And who are these stones? The true believers or the Elect of God!
Revelation 11:7 "And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them."
Revelations: 13:7 "And it was given unto him [Satan] to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
I found an interesting verse in John 16:2 "They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service."
Looking at God's definition of being killed, spiritually is, to "put you out of the synagogues"
So we can say, when we seek for truth and we try to correct the church from teaching falsely, and get excommunicated or thrown out of the church, spiritually, we are getting killed!
So some how, and someway, if you are a true Elect, believe me God will get you out!
May God give you wisdom..... God Bless

CS, perhaps you should be the one reading Job. While he suffered patiently for prolonged periods of time, ("The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away, Blessed be the name of the Lord!") his friends either deserted him or wagged their tongues about what sins he must've committed to find himself in such a predicament! You don't get it, do you?
Job was the righteous man, yet God allowed him to endure hardship on earth.
You are certainly twisting Scriptures. If God says the time will come when one stone isn't left upon the other, you take that to mean that one "true believer" won't be left upon another?
It isn't the sheep's job to correct the shepherd, CS. Jesus instructed Peter three times to "Feed My sheep." Like the Apostles and Early Church Fathers, today's pope and his holy priests feed us with the Word of God, and with the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
The Church which Christ founded upon Peter is guided by the Holy Spirit. We have Christ's word on that. The gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against Her. He is with His Church until the end of time. (Yes, a visible Church--like a city on a hill; not some vague, unrecognizable conglomeration of individuals with conflicting beliefs.)
We don't need to correct our Church, for she is not in error.
The Church which Christ instituted is the pillar and foundation of Truth.
However, now that I've said that, I can see that you want to turn this thread, like so many others, into just another Catholic bashing thread.
This thread was started by Jacob to discuss a personal problem and update those of us who care about him.
If you further wish to deride our Faith, please, don't do it on this thread.
