Well, I'll watch a movie or such with excellant animation but a not so good plot, but I usually don't watch it very many times or consider it to be a wonderful movie. I'll also watch things with poor animation but a wonderful story line. However if the animation is extremely whimsical and the stroy line isn't, I find the poor animation distracts me from the story. But yes the storyline is the most important part to me, closely followed by the quality of the animation. ^_^

yes.....animation is important too, but i've only seen a few poorly drawn animes in the past tho...cyborg009, kikiaider, voltage fighters...

story is always the most important for me, especially for manga's. series like ranma and onepiece dont have very detailed drawrings (half of ranma doesnt have backgrounds) but it doesnt matter as long as the story is good.for animes, the story more important, but sloppy animation can lead to a lost audience nowadays, so its important for animes to have both. generally though i dont think people watch animes too much for their technical mastery

If an anime or manga didnt have a good story,I bet lots of ppl would stop watching it,even if it had good animation.Like Kakiader, poorly drawn, but pretty good storyline!:)
