you guys may wonder why I put all these diaries and memory pages up here. I do it because to me it is so important to extend this knowledge through the generations. History has so much to teach us. These lessons were hard learned by people of another time. Our time will forget these lessons unless we carry them down. I still am not convinced that there won't be time when all these lessons must be used again.

Yes, it is peaceful. The simplicity of it reminds me of what homesteading is all about. It is really nice to see you here Ronda. How great for you that you got all that honey. I wish I had a place to get it cheap. I've thought of keeping bees several times, but I am a little afraid of them. I've never had a reaction to a bee sting, but I'm just not sure the honey is worth the pain in my hide, LOL!Little Bit Farm

By the way my DH brought home some honey comb from a free he found a few years ago I thenk we got about two gallons of honey out of it.. I didnt know what to do with it at first wish I would have had some of these sights back then I probably wasted alought of it..ronda

Thank you Littlebit, I grew up pretty much like you only in the swamps of Florida. And you're right of course. These memories should be preserved for future generations because someday this knowledge may help them survive bad times.Good to see you :)
