Why do some of you people think Hiei and Kurama are gay? I don't think they are, but why do some of you?

actually, i don't know anyone who thinks Hiei and Kurama are gay, but i suppose some people in the world are bound to think that... well, anyway, from what i saw in the series so far, there really weren't any hints that they liked other guys, so i'm guessing that the people that do think they're gay just assumed it on their own.

Hiei and Kurama can't be gay because they're demons, and demons dont really have sexual tendencies.

Actually, because they're demons, the sex of their partner does not comply to them, just as long as they can have a good time. Then they would probably kill them afterwards.... But in my opinion, I think Kurama's bi and Hiei needs attention. Being that Kurama is the first friend he ever had, well..... Not to mention Kurama probably certainly hasn't had the true meanign of love in his life besides what his mother taught him. Also, the two boys never really had any affection towards the girls of the show, in fact they hardly talk to anyone else besides Yusuke. Putting all this together, I think Kurama and Hiei are gay.

Okay, alot of people think they are gay and i must admit kurama is very kawaii ;) but the creator of the series has many times stated that they are not I REPEAT ARE NOT gay. In fact do any of you know that at one time in the series Kurama did have a girlfriend. Thats how he met Hiei.

Actually, Togashi-san has stated that, because of the great confusion on Hiei and Kurama, that he would leave it up to the viewers to decide on they're own. ^_^ It really depends on how you look at it. If you look at the series and try to realize a 'connection' between the two, then you'll probably find it. BUT, if you go through the series thinking that surely, they are not gay, then it appears that there is evidence to support this too.

Togashi-san knew that if he answered the question, half of the viewers would be disappointed, so he simply left it. I personally think there is a kind of connection between the two, but this was after my second time watching the series that I felt this way. And when did liking the same sex make someone unnattractive? A person being... 'too hot' to be gay... I've never heard that one before. ^.^ I am a very openminded person and I can understand why some people feel this way, but I fail to see the rationality.

I seem to think Hiei and Youko/Suuichi Minamino are gay because most signs point towards it, such would be their time always spent around each other the way they look at each other.... it takes chemistry and true understanding of how love surpasses gender to understand the signs of when one loves another so do not say someone doesn't love another just from the series Y*Y*H

I definatley think they are bi. If someone loves another it doesn't matter what gender you are as long as they have a good relationship, a warm heart and and love for one another. In my opinion they're not gay.

Hiei and kurama are gay. Well in the second movie of yyh they show hints of uh...yaoi. there is this part where kurama is hurt so they he takes off all his colthes (they shade most of kurama's body) so he goes into the lake and uh.... then it goes to hiei. hiei takes off his ribbon that covers his jagan eye.
