what do you think of this sudden interest of the american film industry for anime, not only akira and evangelion but i heard now that there is going to be a TRILOGY of dbz live... Don't they have any scenarios left that they have to go to this point to make money ? In my opinion all of those movies will look crappy live, not because they are bad(We'll have to see for that) but because we are use to see all of those character throught drawings ( imagine what rei live will look like...). Not to mention about resuming everything in a 2 hour movies (except DBZ wich is no to difficult) What is you opinion about it ?

live action movies of some series will never work - ull never get a convincing actor to play goku in a dbz live action movie. some series like gto have good live action shows (the jap one is supposed to be really funny), but the americans will never be able to capture the feel of the anime, especially if they cant even do decent dubs
