umm, can some 1 explain to me what the series is about, i mean i really dont understand the last few episodes. after alot of people started dying the show got kinda confusing. also wuts up with the dude choking the dudette in the final of end of eva?

2: end of eva is odd. there are two ways to understand it. The easy way is to accept everything happening at face value. The other way is the watch the whole series a few times and think about it. A lot.

3: Here's what I know. The plan, made by Shinji's father, was to use the Human Intrumentality project to evolve humanity, thus all the souls coming together. However, Shinji decided that he didn't like how it was, so he kind of screwed it up in the middle, leaving him and asuka as the only living human beings. My theroy is that it all worked fine in the series and all the souls were together at the end, but in EoE, shinji screwed it up and only the people in the evas survived. He'd choking her because he's insane. and stupid. and many other reasons simply because he's Shiji
