I dont really know either, i think it had to do with the fact that Haruko was sticking her arm deep into Takun's body... or something.. I really have no idea. Probably has to do with an indifference in Japanese culture. btw... episode 4 was AWESOME!!!! I cranked up the stereo to full blast on my big screen TV and watched the whole thing from 2 inches away from the TV! They should make more shows like FLCL.
