Sagara was just saying that if you have to choose then choose both that way you dont miss out on either. And a gunblade is what Squall uses in ff 8 it is the coolest weapon ever.

Swords are Sooooo much better. Even if guns are eaiser to opperate. All ya do is point and shot. ALthough with swords all ya do is place the pointing end in the bad guy. *but don't use them unwisely just in despreat siturations*

I like swords but if I were fighting I would take a gun because swords are only short range and guns are long and short range. So overall guns are better except for the Tenseiga.

In Anime I like both. In real life a gun. I was lucky enough to have a gun on me the two times that I really needed one. One time when I was walking thru the woods with 3 friends. We were all 16 and we had .22 rifles and were shooting cans. When we ran out of cans we took a walk to find more (unknowingly into a marijuana patch) and three people opened fire on us. We fired back. They ran away. Nobody got shot. Subsonic bullets fly past your head sounds like really really fast bees, by the way. The second time was when I was alone in my apartment and two people started trying to kick my door in. I grabbed a pistol, pointed it at the door and asked what the hell they thought they were doing. I saw a head move past my window and they said something like they got the wrong apartment and left. I never figured out who it was. I called the police and they said that since they left, they could do nothing about it and wouldn't even come to fill out a report. A sword might have worked in the second case, but not in the first case and I am not so sure about the second case. I do respect the fact that it takes years of training and and commitment to become proficient with a sword, but since I have years of training with guns, the choice for me is clear. Good thing this didn't turn into a rant.

I own A samurai sword, and a beretta pistol. Out of the 2, id have to say, shooting off a gun is alot more fun, then swinging the sword at a tree, or a pole, or my sister or whatever. I do what someone does. I line up beer can and shoot them down. Guns in real life are alot cooler, because with swords, there isnt big varietys unlike guns.. cept samurai, ninja, long, short, rapier, etc. guns theres... burst auto, semi auto, sniper.. and lots more guns fall in to those categorys.. But in animes, sword are cooler.. I mean except for trigun, and sumtimes in cowboy bebop. gun fites are dumb.. They try to make it look cool by makeing them dive around in everything...

Swords kick ass. Sorry, but guns just don't suit someone like me. I own both sword and gun and the sword is the best.
