Does it cost anything for a Catholic to speak to Jesus? Is the Pope the beast in rapture? Is Catholism the teachings of the devil?I know better than that. However, there is a preacher where I live preaching those words to his congregation, in a Baptist church. This is what we are up against out there. They steal from Jesus what he founded and left for all of us, One Church, by denouncing and disregarding that One Church by putting Baptist Churches (as well as many other denominations) on just about every corner from where I live and putting Churches in school buildings and then spewing words of evil to their congregations. This is so frightening the mochery that has occurred here. A man who walked a mere 200 miles some 2000 yrs ago with no radio, no Tv's to assist him in preaching his loving words through out the world, that we have all come to know, they... have made a mochery of his commands. There isn't one person alive today that can accomplish that same goal, as he did. Not one! When will all of us see the error of our ways for the travesty that has occurred? When something is not broken, it needs no fixing. For those of us who broke away from what our Lord left us, needs a lot of fixing. There should be no debate on this matter. One Church, One god, it's just that simple. For the anti-Catholics who come to this forum. It doesn't cost a penny for us to speak to our Lord, no matter what time of day it is. Jesus made it quite simple to communicate with him free of charge, and anyone who believes otherwise, is not a believer. I know for a fact that story has circulated around, because I have shared it with many people who said they heard it at their church. The only call that's free out there is the one that puts us in touch with our Savior. Use it freely!!! God Bless us all, Pam

Nope, it doesn't cost anything. You just have to go through the Church. See that way, the Church will never become obsolete. People will always need the Church. Man, those guys back in the third century sure thought ahead. By requiring the Church to be part of your relationship with God, they solidifies their power base quite tightly.

Uh, Jesus lived in the first century. It was He who founded the Church and said that all men were to belong to it. The Church has acted in obedience to that divine command ever since, and will do so until the end of time. If the Church had not existed, no-one would know the true God.

It's been 2,000 years. Things have changed. The Church has taken things out, added things, all to suit it's own agenda. It's run by men. Men want power. Simple as that.
