I have just been told by my Access to WOrk case workers that they won't fund any of the adapatations of equipment I would need in order to work from home as my need to work from home is because I'm a parent and not because I'm disabled. The fact that the equipment I need at home is very different from (and more expensive than) the equipment a non-disabled person would need to do my job from home (which my employer would permit due to parental need as is the case for me) seems to escape them. Has anyone else had this problem?
