On a lighter note..I just got this sent to me... thought I'd share it with you all...Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally we think of it in terms of even more hurry and stress in our lives. maybe if we think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days along the way:{I hope the format doesn't get messed up, it's a poem.}
There's work to do, deadlines to meet; you've got no time to spare, But as you hurry and scurry- ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
In the midst of family chaos, 'quality time' is rare. Do your best; let God do the rest- ASAP- ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
It may seem like your worries are more then you can bear. Slow down and take a breather- ASAP- ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
When things around you fall apart,life's treating you unfair Stop and let God love you-ASAP- ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
God knows how stressful life is; He wants to ease our cares, And He'll respond to all our needs- ASAP- ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

yeh, Charles, I like the 'p.u.s.h.' one. John, would you tell me something about the Knights of Columbus? I don't know anything, like how did they get started and what's their mission, and what's the tradition of their 'uniform'? Thanks, Theresa

JmjWell, Theresa, I am not a member of the Knights of Columbus, so I can't say a great deal about them extemporaneously. However, I have known for a long time that they have an excellent Internet site, so I am going to give you a link to one of their pages. Once there, I'm sure that you can navigate to lots of information about the organization (which is very orthodox, incredibly generous in donations of money and time, and much favored by the pope).
God bless you.
