does anyone know how many episodes, movies, etc there are of x/1999? and are tehre any recommendations of clamp manga out there?

X - TV is 24 episodes. There's an OVA that is supposed to be a prequel but people say not to watch it before you see the series. And then there's the X Movie. The TV series is better because it goes into much more depth and detail than the movie. They are basically the same though. Other Clamp series I have seen so far are Magic Knight Rayearth and Chobits... although I don't know how good the mangas are.

dunno about the episodes but the manga is good for X/1999. Also, Rayearth, Chobits and Wish are good Clamp ones.

X TV has 24 episodes, a movie, AND AN OAV. You will most likely find the OAV labeled as episode 0, with the title An Omen.

i can't remember exactly but i'm pretty sure the movie and the series have slightly different storylines and ending, although the series do go into more depth about each character.

Well,I unno really how much episodes even though I read the first answer :P but the movie is kinda not the same as the series.So if you want,you can watch movie or series and compare ._. There's also Chobits that's good...Uh ... o_O I think Ai Yori Aoshi is from clamp...but not sure -.- Love story,so I unno if you'll like it XD

Yes but you all should read Tokyo Babylon first! It's about two of the X characters 9 years before X and makes their whole story so much more beautiful (don't see tha anime, read the manga!)
