No, we don't have a petition. We generally find that petitions are less effective than personal letters. If you can find time I suggest that you write to Senator Richard Alston, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, Parliamment House, Canberra. He is responsible for the ABC. There will be some bacground information. A personal letter such as this can be more effective that a petition with a hundred signatures. There will be some more information on the background to the ABC's funding crisis at www.friendsoftheabc.org in the next four hours.
