SUm k-lite questions...

What is the Difference between klite and kazaa?

Will it import my kazaa settings?

Are there Faster dls?

Which is better?

klite is hacked KaZaA, it removes spyware, removes ads, adds side programs like AVIPreview (very useful), and download accelerators. K++ also blocks ip viewing, and gives you a constant par. level of 1000, so you receieve precedence over people when downloading files. Alaround good program. It doesnt import KaZaA settings from what I know, but its not that important at all. Faster dls, hmmm, i think they speed up a little. Overall, K++ kicks KaZaA's ass.

I'm pretty sure that K++ does import Kazaa's settings. You still have a lot of new features to configure, though, so it doesn't really matter.

hi ppl. i just downloaded k-lite and it created two shared folders. since i have kazaa and k-lite rite now. is it ok to completely remove kazaa from my computer(u kno, from the add/remove progs.)If i completely uninstall kazaa, will it delete all the files in the Kazaa's shared folder, along with k-lite's shared folder? please help.

no...the files in the share foldee will not b remvoed if u uninstall either kazaa lite or kazaa....

I think you're supposed to remove Kazaa from your PC before you install K-Lite. Technically K-Lite is the same program as Kazaa, just tweaked a little.

Don't uninstall Kazaa first if you want to retain the settings. Just install Kazaalite K++. it may install over Kazaa. to make sure, go to your Control Panel and check if there're both Kazaa & Kazaalite. if both are there, then you uninstall your Kazaa.

I recommend removing spyware from your pc by running Adaware, before you install K++ or K-lite. KaZaA also doesnt run without spyware.
