I am very new to mIRC and am still learning, the server I connect to is irc.mirx.com, what channels do you guys recommend for this server that have a good amount of anime.

#Anime-Kraze has lots of Inuyasha!!!! ;) I just got the second movie there! (I really love the IRC!)

What kind of Anime are you looking for?

It would help people find better channels for you if you don't like Inuyasha or whatever other anime the channel mostly serves.

Personally, I hang out at #SailorMoonCenter at Aniverse, since they have a lot of Ranma 1/2 episodes, but I don't know much mircx channels. When I look for Anime channels, I just search for them on google. ;)

As the guy said, just hang around at whichever channel does the anime you like. Most fansubbers include their irc channels in the credits, eg. #animejunkies for Gundam Seed, #anbudom for Naruto, etc, etc. Other good ones are #infusion, #anime-keep, #animeone, #dream-anime. For manga, the big two are #mangaproject and #mangareaders.

#infusion, #animeone, #anime-keep, #rice-box, #animejunkies, #anime- kraze, #shounen-ai, #hikari are fansubbing channels. Go there for animes that are still airing in japan. #dream-anime, #anime- xplosion, #anime-xtreme are good dvdrip channels.
