Whenever I read the manga, for some strange reason I keep comparing it to the book Little Women, just spiced up with nudity and japanese mojo. Any of you think ken akamastu based his ideas off that book?

No i don't think it is based on a book. i think it is based on Evangelion. and has taken some other anime series. or the other anime seres have taken from them

Based on Evangelion? Their like so different.......though Ken Akamatsu did make several references to Evangelion
