Has Hajime No Ippo just stopped? There hasn't been any new releases since 76 in... well god knows how long. Anyone have any info? Would help. Thanks

Ippo is done at 76 episodes. There is also a made-for-tv movie called Champion Road and an OAV featuring Kimura's Japan Title challenge, both of which you can download at a.scarywater.net/infusion using bittorrent.

Ive been trying to look somewhere. I once stumbled onto a link accidentaly while looking for bittorrent links. It had on sale the VCD's for the upcoming eps up to 100 I think. I dont remember how true the site was but if I can find it....or if it WAS true, id imagine it'd still take a lil time because of it not being subtitled yet..

There are no plans of extending hajime no ippo anime, and there will probably be no more eps after the mashiba vs kimura ova.

It's a little too soon to say that, since we haven't seen sales figures for the DVD of that ova so far. If it performs respectably, there's more than enough material in the manga to create several more OAVs. The TV series, on the other hand, is over.

I talked to people that claimed they went to an animecon with the ippo producers in it, from what I hear they barely mentioned the show at all, and the rating of ippo in japan is mediocre at best.
I still have a glimmer of hope that it isn't true.
