The cross country teams had a successful afternoon today at the region championship competition at Our Lady of Mercy School.

Boys finished 2nd overall to qualify for state. Nick Stephens won the race in course record time. Saji Girvan was 3rd, also breaking the old record.

Girls placed 4th overall. They will run at a sectional race in Albany Nov 1st. The top 8 teams at this race will get an invitation to the state meet. There is a almost 100% certainty that we will be in this first group. Kiah Vernon was 2nd in today's meet with a personal best time of 19:49. Rebecca Tolmach qualified for state as an individual with a 5th place finish.

Complete results will be posted with the trophy on the counter in the front office of the school.
