How do you rip music from Video Games? +For example, I just played Backyard Wrestling for the XBOX and it has a GREAT soundtrack... How can i take the music off of the XBOX cd and put it straigh on my PC? And can i put it as an MP3, to make it easy... Or even better, rip and burn the music straight to another audio CD?Thanks guys. --Wakataka

Well, this is a difficult task for any pc unsavvy person so i'll braek it down in steps...1st: Download the cxbox emulator (not a fake: it plays sound from games on your PC but isn't pwerful enough to play games)
get it here http://www.caustik.com/cxbx/download/Cxbx-0.7.9-Pre3.zip
2nd: Get a streaming audio ripper (records sound from your sound card not pc speaker) Get Total Recorder 3.4 cracked from Kazaa
3rd: Insert the xbox cd in your drive, open it with cxbx, and record it from the stereo sourc in total recorder.
Feel free to ask any questions.

Also, I just got Cbxb, but it wont play an XBOX CD, it looks for .XBE or .EXE files, the cd (when u click 'explore' to get inside the folder) has 2 .IFO files, 2 .BUP files and 2 .VOB files. The cd I used was the Sega GT/JSRF Disk that comes with an XBOX...--Wakataka

'stereo source' is when you record from your sound card (not the pc speaker) most unreleased mp3s are made this way and it provides full quality recording. Sorry, but I thought it would work. In one of the forums it says that cxbx can play sound but I assumed from a disk. Also you could try an ISO ripper and rip the audio filesget it here:

(make sure configure the plugin and select your drive)
I dunno if this would work w/an xbox game but it's worth a try sorry i can't give a definitive answer because i dont own an xbox maybe you should try other forums
