The only new series I picked up is full metal alchemist. The world consists of people who can perform alchemy, but unlike real alchemy, they are only able to use manipulate an object into something else of equal value. The two protagonist Edward and Alfonise are trying to find an artifact that can help restore their original bodies.

Peace maker - about a boy whose parents were killed by samurais when he was younger. He then vowed to join the shinsen gumi to avenge his parents death. But he must choose if he could become a complete devil in the proccess, for that is the only way for him to get his revenge. Pretty funny and looks alot like rurouni kenshin. Full Metal Panic Fumoffu - Second season to Full Metal Panic. Very funny. You would definately enjoy this. Theres no storyline so you won't have to watch the first season to enjoy this series. It's just all out comedy. www.animesuki.com

Shingentsusan is some wacked up surreal type weird animation. Totally mesmerising though its addictive as hell, i wish he would take his fooking glasses off and cut some shit up though

I'll also add in Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. It's a pretty popular series at the moment it seems with some surprises so far.

I have to aggree with everyone my fav's currently are

Naruto Cool ninja action, both the anime and manga is worth gettting Shingetsutan Tsukihime Relatively new anime 5 episodes in and kicking ass. Vampires, and a protagonist who might be a serial killer. Some mind bending fun and action. Inuyasha - an oldie but a goodie

Shingetsutan Tsukihime is a pretty interesting series, I've seen the first 4 episodes so far... also an anime I liked that's pretty new is Uchuu no Stellvia, not that it's a top anime or anything, but it was pretty good

PeaceMaker Kurogane, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, Green Green, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Tsukohime, and ROD TV are a couple good new series. Scrapped Princess is also a good watch.
