ChiChi is my favorite DBZ female. She's strong,loyal,loving a good wife/mother etc. My question is, why do a lot of fans dislike her so much?

The ChiChi bashers always give the same reasons for not liking her. Reasons like, "She's too over protective of her family," or "She wants Gohan to study instead of fighting," etc. etc. etc.

Come on, think about it. She's protective of her family because she loves them and doesn't want to lose them. She wants Gohan to study because she wants him to know there's more to life than fighting. I will admit that she nags a lot but that's what makes her a funny character.

What do you guys think? P.S. Please try to stay on the topic.

I have nothing against Chi-chi because shhe is one of my favorite characters too. Chi-chi be tripping me out(makes me laugh a lot). I say that because she is always yelling and screaming at Goku over some stupid stuff. Like the episode,when Chi-chi was a yelling at goku about him needing to get a car and it was so stupid because all she had to do is ask him to fly her to the store to buy the groceries. And I was laughing because Goku didn't know what her problem was until she told him and piccilo(forgot how to spell his name)to go get there driver's license.As for her being too overprotective of Gohan especially with girls,I don't find it a problem at all. I just makes her character ever funnier.

Gokou didn't pick her...Hell he didn't even know marriage wasn't A FOOD before she showed up at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai under the alias Tokumei Kibou (Anonymous Hope), fought him, and told him all about how she felt...Still not TOTALLY understanding marriage he just says "Sure! Let's get married!", cuz he's an idiot ^_^ But hey, would anyone like Gokou is he was smart? HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!! He's an ignorant hick who's bad grammar is off the charts, but that's why he's cool!
