Time for extra-fervent prayer.Fr. Andrew (Apostoli), CFM, reported on EWTN this morning that Fr. Benedict had a setback in the last 24 hours -- even having his heart stop briefly when temporarily taken off a respirator. He was off it for a while, a day or two earlier, without a crisis occurring.
So he is back in critical condition after having seemed to be well on the way to recovery. He has been unable to speak, due to a tracheotomy. He has had two or three operations, due to broken bones (arm and leg, I think).
