I'm considering fitting the WCT chip to my standard F4 to try to improve the fuelling (can't justify the RG3 just yet). Does anyone know if it's likely to have an effect or is it really only suitable for exhaust upgrades such as RG3/ SilMoto, etc.? Would a Power Commander be better? Thanks for any replies. By the way, had the bike for 14 months, but only on the road for 6 of that - rear shock went and it's taken 8 MONTHS to get a replacement. It's all very well producing new bikes, but what about those of us who already own one and need parts, etc. . . . moan over! Cheers, Gethyn

We've only used the WCT chip with after market exhausts (RG3 slip- ons, full system, and FBF/Sil Moto. If you would like to try the WCT, we can take take it back if it does not work. My guess is that it will improve low end respnse but my not be as crisp as with a free flowing exhaust.
