I, for one, will not be watching the Oscars. I truly believe that Satan embraces Hollywood, and in turn, Hollywood embraces everything that is evil, and dishonors anything that is of God.

I am so disturbed that Sean Penn, who put his arm around Satan in an army uniform (Saddam Hussein), telling Saddam not to worry that everything will be okay. This madman, Saddam, who raped, murdered, tortured woman and children was embraced by Sean Penn while our military were fighting for Sean's very freedom. What a slap in the face to our country and our military, notwithstanding, a slap in the face to the innocent people of Iraq!

Me too didn't watched the Oscars , 'cause to be honest , it doesn't interest(ed) ME , who won !! __ On the news & filmmagazines , they'll show a report , that's less boring than watch the whole show (btw: Just My Opinion) !! btw: all LOTR's , I don't like those movies !!

But as Bill said , it isn't all bad/nasty/evil in hollywood , otherwise , it's better to throw away your TV !! __ Seeing someone get killed on TV is a bigger damaging for mankind , than seeing the oscars !!

Yes, there are good directors and not-so-good directors and producers in Hollywood. There are some very good movies out there, but they are rare.

There are some very good actors too. However, I am at odds with their political views most times and most of Hollywood is much too liberal for me.

The Oscars just don't interest me. There was a time when I enjoyed watching them, (long ago) but not any more. Maybe I am just getting old... :)

MaryLu, I agree 100% with you on your stance regarding Penn. But remember, it wasn't just women and children who were tortured and murdered by Hussein. The majority of his victims were men. God Bless Joe
